Cakes by Kim specializes in custom wedding cakes and wedding dessert tables - always made fresh for your special day! We look forward to working with you to design and create a unique, delicious, and memorable culinary treat for you and your guests to enjoy. Although we are not a retail bakery, our confections are created in a licensed and insured home kitchen operating under the Alabama Cottage Food Law - SB-159.

She's a bit of a perfectionist, but this comes in handy with the planning and execution needed for your wedding cake. From the balance of flavor profiles to the placement of each flower, Kim will ensure that your cake is as beautiful as it is delicious!

As such, you will often see this beaming face welcoming you to chat and sample our treats at bridal events! She's also newly engaged, so we can't wait to celebrate her special day!

With a 10 year marriage to her high school sweetheart, and a 20 year cumulative relationship that is #marriagegoals - she is also the muse behind our brand imagery!

Whether you prefer a beautiful classic design in white, or want to show off your unique style with a bit of color and flair, our wedding cakes and dessert tables will pleasantly surprise you and your guests.

We offer a wide variety of stand rentals to accommodate just about any style for your wedding cake and wedding dessert table needs. As part of your Cake Tasting, we will discuss the overall aesthetic of your wedding. With knowledge of the finishes used in your decor, floral arrangements and catering displays, we can help in making the best selections for your special day.
Delivery & Set-Up
Delivery & Set-Up
We are happy to deliver our cakes & confections within and beyond the greater Birmingham metropolitan area. Please contact us for delivery charges, as the price of the delivery will vary based on distance and whether you only have a wedding cake, or a wedding cake and dessert table order. Delivery is required for all wedding orders. Unfortunately, shipping is not available for our confections.
